- The California Department of Fish and Wildlife will open the commercial Dungeness crab fishery from the Sonoma-Mendocino county line to the U.S.-Mexico border starting January 5, 2025.

- Fishermen are permitted to begin setting baited crab pots on December 13th.

- Season is still currently postponed to AT LEAST January 1st. The California Department of Fish and Wildlife cited concerns over humpback whale entanglements as the primary reason for the delay.

- From North Washington to Portland, the opening of commercial crab fishing has been delayed and is now tentatively scheduled for December 31st.
- Oregon, USA:
- Commercial crab fishing from Portland to the California border is officially set to open on December 16th.
- California, USA:
- Season is still postponed due to high presence of whale in fishing zones.
- Washington, USA:
- December 4, 2024: All three states have jointly agreed to postpone the season opening until AT LEAST December 16th.

- The season has been delayed due to unmarketable meat quality in sampled crabs, as they did not meet the minimum meat recovery criteria.
- Another round of testing is scheduled for on or around December 7th.
- Oregon, USA:
- The season has been delayed due to high concentrations of domoic acid, a toxin responsible for amnesic shellfish poisoning, found in the crabs’ viscera and as well as unmarketable meat quality in sampled crabs.
- Oregon plans to delay the opening of multiple sections to allow time for the crabs to expel more of the toxin from their bodies.

- The season has been postponed due to the high presence of whales in fishing zones, increasing the risk of entanglement.

- Washington, USA – Potential Date for Opening: February 2025
- Oregon, USA:
- Delayed coastwide until at least December 16th according to the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife.
- Pre-season testing showed Dungeness crab are too low in meat yield in some ocean areas and have elevated domoic acid in crab viscera (guts) in two areas on the south coast.

Where do the crabs come from?
We source our crabs directly from fishermen along the coasts of Washington, Oregon, and California, handling every step in-house—from cooking and cleaning to processing. Our state-of-the-art facility adheres to strict safety guidelines, ensuring top-quality products every time!
Our plant is also HACCP and SQF certified!
How much do I serve per person?
We suggest 2 to 3 pounds PER person before cleaning and cracking. Crabs are weighed whole prior to processing, and your order will include only the body and legs, as the back shells and innards are removed. After cleaning and cracking, the final delivered weight is approximately 50% of the whole cooked crab.
What is provided with our order?
In addition to your order, we also provide you bibs at no additional cost!
Do you recommend adding anything else to the crab feed?
Enhance your crab feed with a variety of additional products! We recommend adding shrimp, mussels, clams, and more. We also offer cocktail sauce to complete the feast.
What is the payment process?
The price will be based on the weight of the whole cooked crab before cleaning and cracking your crabs.
Final pricing will be provided 1 to 2 weeks before the event. 50% deposit is required 10 days prior to delivery date. Deposit is forfeited if the order is cancelled 1 week prior to the event date.
Remaining balance must be paid before or upon delivery date. Orders will not be released without full payment.
Payment can be made with cash, cashier’s check, business check or credit card*.
*Credit card transactions will have an additional 5% fee added to the total order.
